If We’re Not Going To Stop Mass Shootings, These Doctors Want To Teach Civilians How To Save Lives

During a mass shooting, the most effective place to focus is on the patients not the perpetrators.  If civilians and first responders are equipped with how to handle trauma, they can be instrumental in saving lives.

Victims of domestic violence often don't know their rights and how to protect themselves against their perpetrators.  It is critical that first respondents and law enforcement be educated and trained to best protect victims to help guide them through every step of the system.
